Senior Electrical Draftperson

Senior Draftsperson, Electrical Location: Esterhazy, SK (K1 Site) Schedule: 9/80 Schedule Hourly Rate: As per CBA The Mosaic Company is the world's leading integrated producer of concentrated phosphate and potash, serving farmers around the globe. Responsibilities: Prepare electrical and instrumentation schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings. Design basic electrical, instrumentation, and control systems and perform related calculations. Develop detailed drawings and bills of materials for fabrication and construction. Obtain field measurements and verify information required for drawing preparation. Check complex construction and fabrication drawings for accuracy. Perform cable, motor, starter, overload protection, and instrumentation calculations and equipment selection. Create freehand sketches for simple components and circuits. Maintain engineering drawings and documentation. Adhere to all environmental, safety, and occupational health requirements. Qualifications: Two-year Engineering Technology diploma with training in electrical drafting, CAD, computer technology, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of post-graduate drafting experience in an industrial environment. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machinery, instrumentation, and electronic equipment. Strong understanding of drafting standards, ISA/SAMA symbology, and CAD software. Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and current electrical design practices.
