Continuing care assistant

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive caregiving and support. *Responsibilities* * Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity * Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols * Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring proper nutrition * Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly and respectful environment * Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment through regular cleaning routines * Observe and report changes in residents? health or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals * Support residents with activities that enhance their quality of life, including recreational programs or social engagement *Qualifications* * Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred * Strong background in senior care, caregiving, or home care services * Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is advantageous * Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols * Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently * Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents of all ages * Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude toward caregiving responsibilities Join our team to provide exceptional care that truly makes a difference!
