Seafood sales clerk

We are looking for a *Seafood Sales Clerk* for our *North* Edmonton Location! *Job description* As a *Seafood Sales Clerk*, you will prepare, clean, package, a variety of seafood products, maintain inventory, and provide expert guidance to customers. This role requires attention to detail, safe handling of seafood and equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide guidance and advice to customers about seafood products * Assist in displaying and promoting merchandising sales * Clean, trim, and prepare seafoods for sale and further processing * Wrap, package, and weigh seafood products accurately * Clean and maintain equipment, including fish cleaning and cutting machines * Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, professional approach *Qualifications & Skills* * Secondary (High School) graduation certificate, or equivalent experience * Ability to work independently and as part of team. * Honest, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment. * Attention to detail and safety while using knives and equipment. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and performing repetitive task. * Must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs (~23 kgs). *What We Offer* * Friendly and supportive work environment * Dental plan and Health care plan * 10% grocery discount card * Parking available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * Store discount Work Location: In person
