Job description
Education: Bachelor's degree. Public relations/image management. Marketing, other. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Social service or charity agency. Tasks: Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities . Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes. Develop communication strategies. Direct the marketing strategies of establishments. Implement communication strategies and programs. Supervise staff. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services. Act as spokesperson for an organization. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
