Fleet supervisor

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Recommend measures to improve work methods. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Co-ordinate repairs and rentals. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments. Supervision: 5-10 people. Truck drivers. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. Dispatch management service software. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
