*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Credit Manager to lead our credit risk assessment and management initiatives. In this vital role, you will oversee the entire credit granting process, analyze financial data, and develop strategies to minimize risk while maximizing revenue opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key financial decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive success. *Duties* * Evaluate credit applications by collecting and analyzing comprehensive financial data from clients and prospects to assess creditworthiness. * Conduct thorough risk analysis using data mining techniques and data modeling tools to identify potential threats and opportunities. * Develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals. * Negotiate credit terms with clients, balancing risk mitigation with customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships. * Monitor ongoing credit exposure through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting strategies as needed to mitigate potential losses. * Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in financial services or credit management roles with a strong understanding of credit risk assessment. * Proficiency in data collection, data mining, and data modeling techniques to analyze large datasets effectively. * Solid math skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information accurately. * Excellent negotiation skills to establish favorable credit terms while managing organizational risk. * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, forecast risks, and develop strategic solutions. * Degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
