Automotive service technician

*Job Overview* We're a single-location Kia dealership in Pickering looking for a licensed technician to join our service team. You'll diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems to keep customers safe on the road, in a fast-paced shop that values technical skill and great service. Our team is about 30 people, so you'll work directly with the foreman and service advisors, and you'll be known by name, not by stall number. *What you'll do* * Diagnose vehicles using schematics, scan tools and technical manuals to find the root cause accurately * Repair and maintain engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical systems, plus routine service such as fluid changes, tire rotations and calibrations * Complete warranty repairs to Kia Canada specifications and document all work clearly * Explain repair needs to advisors so customers understand and trust the work * Collaborate with teammates on complex problems and share technical knowledge * Follow safety protocols and industry standards every day *What we're looking for* * 310S licence required * Dealership or similar automotive repair experience preferred; Kia or Hyundai experience is a bonus * Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems, with confidence reading schematics and using diagnostic software * Clear communicator with a customer-first attitude * Your own tools and a valid Ontario driver's licence * Evening and Saturday availability required *What we offer* * Flat-rate pay of $30?$36 per hour, depending on experience * Health and dental benefits * Kia training with pay raises as you reach each certification level, including EV training * A stable dealership with a supportive management team *Schedule* Evening and Saturday availability is required.
