Warehouse associate

Role and Responsibilities * Responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. * Loading and unloading shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use of any necessary equipment, e.g. pump truck, forklift, etc. Daily * Prepare materials for shipment. * Match incoming and outgoing products with purchase orders. * Verify product expiration codes. * Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating. * Operate a Forklift (preferred) or Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move the received product inside and outside the facility. * May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures inside and outside the facility. * Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries. * Sort and distribute incoming shipments. * Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off. * Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor. * Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete. * Handle, organize, and audits the off-site storage. Weekly * Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations. Monthly * Responsible for obtaining off-site inventory when needed Ongoing * Maintain a safe work environment. * Other duties/tasks as assigned Shift is 1500-2300 Monday to Friday. *No Recruiters.* Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Licence/Certification: * Forklift Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
