Education: College/CEGEP. Computer science. Web page, digital/multimedia and information resources design. Graphic design. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Confer with clients to identify requirements. Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements. Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance. Develop website architecture. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Photoshop. HTML. CSS. Website creation and management software. Web service design. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability.
