Unit clerk

The successful candidate is responsible for performing clerical tasks and managing patient information supporting patient care activities on an outpatient basis for an evening and weekend access clinic in Ambulatory Care. The Unit Clerk acts as a central source of information relating to patient activities including patient admissions, Alberta Netcare information, booking appointments, use of connect care to schedule appointments and complete referral work, diagnostic tests and obtaining patient lists. This position requires considerable telephone communication with patients, physician's offices and other members of the health care team.
