The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family centered care on an acute surgical unit in accordance with the UAH and AHS policy and procedures. The 3D3 Plastic Surgery unit is responsible for providing staffing to a 21 adult bed unit consisting of plastic/reconstructive, burn patients, and other off service surgery and medicine patients. We strive to provide quality care to patients received from the operating room, emergency department, intensive care unit, directly from home, surgery clinics in addition to caring for patients received from other departments within the hospital from time to time.
