You don't need someone standing over your shoulder. You can walk into a no-heat, no-cooling or complicated equipment call, *diagnose the problem, explain it to the customer and get the job done right.* You're the technician other technicians call when they can't figure something out. You: * *Diagnose before replacing parts* * Understand HVAC systems rather than simply following a checklist * Take pride in clean, professional workmanship * Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners * Understand the importance of accurate documentation * Take care of your truck, tools and equipment * Maintain a professional appearance * Respect the customer's home and time * Work independently and make sound decisions in the field * Want to continually improve your skills and knowledge * Take ownership of your calls from start to finish * Are someone your coworkers can count on when things get difficult *If "good enough" isn't good enough for you, you'll fit in here.* WHAT YOU'LL DO As a HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for: * Diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment * Troubleshooting furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and related equipment * Performing maintenance and preventative service * Identifying safety concerns and code issues * Providing customers with clear explanations and repair options * Recommending repairs and improvements when appropriate * Completing accurate service documentation * Maintaining a clean and professional work environment * Working closely with dispatch and the office team * Delivering an exceptional customer experience on every call * Helping train and mentor junior technicians * Staying current with new equipment, technology and industry best practices * Installing and commissioning furnaces, air conditioners and water heaters when required *Every call is an opportunity to demonstrate your skill.* WHAT WE EXPECT We have high standards because our customers deserve the best.
