Job description

Required Qualifications: * Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Ability/Skills/Knowledge: * Knowledge of, and willingness to support SJGHEL?s Mission, Vision & Values of Compassion, Humility & Harmony, Respect, Integrity, Social Responsibility and The Sacredness of Life ? Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate medication provision for patients. * Perform clerical duties, including preparing and reconciling third-party billings, chemotherapy billing, invoices, memos, and maintaining drug information files. * Manage drug distribution systems by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper inventory control, including narcotics and controlled substances. ? * Ensure medication safety through tasks such as stock rotation, expiry date monitoring, and destruction of expired or unused medications. * Participate in continuing professional development, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department. * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to interact with team members and clients in a positive manner * Ability to work under minimal supervision and manager high volume workload Assets: * Bilingual * Excellent attendance record (records will be reviewed) * Experience in Meditech software applications * Practical pharmacy experience (hospital setting preferred) Benefits: * General: Employee Assistance Program * Full-Time: This position includes a comprehensive benefits package with pension (HOOPP), Extended Health Care, Dental Care, Vision Care, Disability Insurance, and Life Insurance(s) Please submit your application to HR Inquiries e-mail (humanresources@sjgh.ca) Pay: $26.73-$33.41 per hour Benefits: * Employee assistance program * On-site parking Application question(s): * Are you currently registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists?
