Position #: 201915 Expected Start Date: November 02, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: St Josephs Hospital - SHA - MHA City/Town: Estevan Department: Mental Health Community Clinics&Programs - Adult Clinical Services Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: September 08, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Experience working with mental health and addiction community outreachEducation- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)Licenses- Valid Class 5 driver's licenseCompetencies- Cultural competency- Computer skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty.- Highly developed written and oral communication skills- Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems- Able to work independently in a self motivated manner & respond under pressure- Knowledge of Recovery Philosophy- Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies- Exp. in mental health & addictions community outreach & crisis interventions- Ability to provide public/educational presentations- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.- Ability to formulate evidence-based intervention based on clinical presentation- Public relation skills with the ability to maintain effective work relationships- Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise ...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
