Social worker

As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker will provide services to adult outpatients in the Orthopedic Fracture Clinic. The services provided range from psycho-social assessment and treatment; crisis intervention; advocacy; supportive counseling; consultation, patient/family/staff education; linking with community resources. The Social Worker will enjoy a challenging practice, which requires excellent clinical skills, flexibility and a desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a variety of settings. This is a temporary, study-based position created to support a pilot trial of embedded social work services in the outpatient fracture clinic. Qualifications1.
