Job description
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Tasks: Install exterior prefabricated products. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair and service exterior prefabricated products. Determine layout and installation procedures. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Utilize hand and power tools. Fit plate or sheet steel work. Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Maintain work areas. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools. Inspect final products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Area of specialization: Siding. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
