Retail sales associate

Job Description: Come work for us at Coast Surf Shop. We are looking for a part-time employee to join our team who is self-motivated, reliable and wanting to build genuine connections with our customers. A love for clothing and paddle boarding is an asset. Your Day: * Connecting and building relationships with our customers * Contributing to our social media presence * Continually learning about the products we sell * Inputting inventory into our POS system * Renting paddle boards * Ringing in sales through our POS system * Displaying product in an appealing, organized and clean way Qualifications: * Willing work at both Cumberland and Comox Locations with availability on weekends * Work full day/ shift * Previous knowledge of Paddle Board and Surf related products is an asset but not necessary (we provide detailed training as well as on water experience) * Self- motivated as well as able to work as a team and by yourself. * For this lead position previous retail experience in necessary We offer competitive wages, employee and family discounts, access to paddle board rentals, product knowledge training and a supportive work environment with room for growth on water and in the store.
