Airport maintenance worker

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Industrial facility or establishment. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform safety and security checks. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Forklift Operator Certification. Equipment: Power tools. Security system. Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments). Snowblower. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
