Registered nurse - perioperative

Applicants must have completed an accredited perioperative course to work in the operating room. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing perioperative patient care using the nursing process. In accordance with CRNA, Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) and CSA Standards of practice. The RN will demonstrate competence in delivering safe, effective and efficient care in both a scrub and circulating role as an integral part of the surgical team in both the Operating Room and Minor Surgery Clinic.
