Registered nurse

The Critical Care Nurse is a leader and pivotal member of the inter-professional team. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) act as a primary caregiver to the patient and their family in the critical care setting, and is trained in advanced critical care certifications including Code Blue and Outreach (rapid response) team. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)s work collaboratively with Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapist, Pharmacists, and Social Workers in order to achieve the best patient outcomes through a team-based approach.
