The Rockyview General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RGH NICU) is a 25 bed, level 2 unit located in Calgary, Alberta. Critically ill neonates from Southern Alberta receive lifesaving care in this fast paced and constantly evolving environment that is supported by a large multidisciplinary team. A significant part of care provided in the RGH NICU is focused on feeding progression and preparation for discharge home. The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) provides leadership in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of educational activities for nursing staff, including orientation, compulsory educational programs, clinical development and continuing education.
