Refrigeration Mechanic

-Troubleshoot, repair and maintain packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) units, kitchen appliances, walk in coolers, freezers, makeup air units, air handling units, furnaces, and split systems. -Troubleshoot refrigeration components and systems to identify and resolve operational issues. -Install new refrigeration and related equipment as required. -Handle, recover and store refrigerants following safe handling requirements ozone depleting substances. -Follow and comply with all corporate environmental, health, and safety policies and standards related to the trade. -Must be able to work outside under adverse conditions. -Must be comfortable with working at heights. Requirements of the position: -minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent; -valid class 5 driver's license; -valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson refrigeration mechanic certification; -relevant ammonia-based refrigeration work experience in a commercial/industrial setting; -halocarbon reclamation certificate; and -work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
