CLAC is an affiliated member of the World Organisation of Workers. We are currently accepting resumes for a Receptionist to join the Edmonton Regional Team. This is a full-time, permanent position in our Edmonton Member Centre. *Job Summary:* The individual suited for this job will serve first and foremost as a member champion who will ensure that all members are properly served or redirected to the appropriate support. This position will also provide backup to other staff when needed. Must have the ability to multi-task in a busy, challenging environment that includes frequent interruptions and distractions. *Key Responsibilities:* This role will perform a variety of clerical duties, including but not limited to: * Receiving callers/visitors to the member centre * Ordering office supplies * Entering membership information into the database * Postage/fax machine operation and maintenance * Processing payments * Arranging courier service * General office email review and distribution * Incoming mail and fax distribution *Qualifications:* * Completion of high school or equivalency education. *Skills and Experience:* * Minimum of 3 months experience in a similar role * Must be a motivated self-starter with a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Able to work independently and in a team environment. * Knowledgeable in all Microsoft platforms, proficient with computers and familiar with database work. * Able to multi-task and to function in a busy environment. *Reporting and Accountability:* * This position reports directly to the Building & Office Manager. *Compensation: * The annual salary will range from $45,301 to $57,017. *To Apply:* Please submit your cover letter and resume to Ryan Timmermans, Regional Director, at careers@clac.ca and indicate in your application where you came across the position. *Application Deadline: *October 12, 2026 *Approximate Start Date: *October 2026 CLAC offers a competitive wage and excellent benefit package, as well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic, rewarding, and challenging workplace community.
