Summary of Duties The Department of Medical Physics at the Odette Cancer Centre (OCC) of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario, has an opening for a permanent, full-time Physics Associate to join a team of five physics associates. The Physics Associates undertake quality control of equipment for the delivery of ionizing radiation (including medical linear accelerators), radiation protection measurements, radiation dose measurements, and research and development projects under supervision. Morning and evening shifts are required. The Radiation Treatment Program has twelve linear accelerators, one MR-linac, one Gamma Knife, four CT-sims, three MR-Sims, and one high-dose-rate afterloader.
