The Health Law Paralegal in Legal & Privacy is a fast-paced professional position reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Health Law. The position provides coordination for a variety of functions within a dynamic and service focused Health Law Team in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Health Shared Services. Working under limited guidance, the position is responsible for: Assisting lawyers in a broad range of health law legal matters, including day to day administrative support, provision of resources to clients, research, project management and larger file management. This position provides oversight and administration of the provincial Clinical Legal Intake Line which requires, interviewing clients/health care providers, triaging, file management, navigation and some file oversight to assist lawyers.
