Unit 29 is a 32-bed in-patient unit that covers the following surgical focuses General surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI, Gynecology, and Breast-hernia-thyroid surgery. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides a professional, caring and comprehensive approach to the surgical and medical patient. LPN provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and families for the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health, illness and safety prevention.
