*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support and clinical support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability , ability to learn something new, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous clinical experience and use of accuro emr will be a plus. *Duties* * Greet patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor at the front desk. * Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries. * Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up-to-date. * Assist with the coordination of patient flow within the office, ensuring timely service and care. * Process patient registrations and verify insurance information efficiently. * Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. * Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. * Collaborate with other administrative/clinical staff to enhance office efficiency and patient satisfaction. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus but will consider all applicants. * Familiarity with Accuro or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. * Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication. * Experience as a medical office assistant in a medical office is advantageous but not required. * Proficient in administrative tasks with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. * Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Competency in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical administration.
