Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Maintain and repair sports equipment. Prepare reports. Understand principles of group dynamics. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Provide lifestyle awareness information. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
