*Maintenance Millwright * *Pay*: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Cambridge Pro Fab Inc. is looking for an experienced *Maintenance Millwright* to join our growing maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys working in a hands-on industrial environment and takes pride in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability. *What you?ll be doing* *Key Job Responsibilities* * Repair or replace defective equipment and ensure it is safe for employees to operate. * Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and provide practical maintenance solutions. * Construct, install, adjust, and repair equipment, buildings, and other physical assets assigned. * Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities. * Identify and correct unsafe equipment or hazardous conditions before they can result in injury. * Support maintenance planning and participate in the execution of maintenance projects. * Assist with maintaining equipment reliability, plant safety, and production continuity. * Resolve Joint Health and Safety Committee concerns related to maintenance safety, when required. * Contact service providers for required repairs, annual inspections and facility needs. * Source and maintain a small inventory of strategic spare parts to prevent prolonged downtime exposures. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. * Assist with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance programs. * Record important shift details and parts request through the maintenance system. * Participate actively in continuous improvement activities. * Communicate important status updates to managers and other departments. * Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, safety, efficiency, and reliability. * Report on unsafe equipment or working conditions to the Facilities manager, or Plant Manager. * Complete other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. *What we?re looking for* *Required Qualifications & Experience* * *Valid Industrial Millwright Red Seal / 433A Certificate of Qualification.* * *3 - 5 years experience.* * Proven industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation experience. * Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose equipment issues effectively. * Experience performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing, food-processing, agricultural, or similar production environment. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a maintenance and operations team. * Strong commitment to workplace health and safety. * Ability to communicate maintenance concerns, repair requirements, and improvement ideas clearly. * Willingness and ability to obtain or maintain forklift and aerial-equipment operating qualifications. * Working at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions. * Operating forklifts and aerial equipment after appropriate training. * Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and hands-on equipment repair. * Provide your own basic repair tools. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Ability to work effectively in a cohesive, fast-paced team environment. * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. *What we offer* *Benefits* * Dental care * Extended health care * Disability insurance * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care *Experience: 3-5 years required* *Hours of Work* *Day Shift* Monday?Thursday 7:00 AM?4:30 PM Friday 7:00 AM ? 11:00 AM Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
