The Licensed Practical Nurse - PCU 71 and 72 (LPN) works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team on two 38-bed Acute/Sub Acute Medical Unit(s) at the Foothills Medical Centre. The patient population on these units include acute medical patients and patients awaiting transfer to an alternative level of care settings in the community. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work in collaboratively amongst a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive high quality, patient/family centered care. These patients do have complex and diverse care needs. The LPN will be orientated and required to work on both Unit 71 and Unit 72. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills....
