Interior designer

*Overview* We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented *Interior Designer* to join our team! You will work closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to develop design concepts and bring projects from initial ideas through to completion. *Duties* * Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, lifestyle and budget, , translating them into innovative design solutions. * Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using digital design tools and 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, 20/20 Design, and CAD. * Develop interior design concepts, space plans, material selections, and color palettes. * Create floor plans, elevations, renderings, presentations, and other design documentation. * Prepare design presentations and communicate concepts clearly to clients. * Coordinate with architects, contractors, trades, suppliers, and other project partners. * Source products and materials while maintaining project budgets and timelines. * Review drawings, specifications, samples, and installations for design accuracy. * Visit project sites as needed and help resolve design or installation issues. * Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. * Stay current with interior design trends, products, materials, and industry standards. * Familiarity with construction painting processes and materials used in interior environments. * Ability to incorporate elements of fashion design and digital arts into creative projects. *Qualifications* * Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field. * 3+ years of professional interior design experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs. * Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and client-service abilities. * Strong organization and project-management skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * A portfolio demonstrating strong design work is required.
