Who we need Reporting to the Manager, Academic Accommodations and Accessibility, we are hiring an Accessibility and Learning Strategies Specialist to join our student support team.
As our new Accessibility and Learning Strategies Specialist, you will work directly with students with disability needs and other protected human rights needs, providing individualized learning strategies and ADHD coaching support to help them navigate barriers to academic success.
You will focus on executive functioning, organization, time management, study skills, and self-advocacy, while also reviewing supporting documentation, developing academic accommodation plans, and connecting students with appropriate resources and services across the University.
This is an existing, full-time hybrid role based at our New Westminster, B.C.
campus, working four days per week on campus and one day remotely.
Regular working hours are 9:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., or 10:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m.
