Job Title: Technical Program Manager - Cybersecurity
Experience: 4 to 7 Years
Work Model: 100% Remote (Canada)
Employment Type: T4 Contract
Rate: CAD 50 to 55 per hour
Role Summary
We are hiring for a Technical Program Manager - Cybersecurity role where the selected candidate will support cybersecurity and Trust activities across technology integrations and acquisitions. The role involves coordinating cross-functional security initiatives, managing risks and dependencies, and driving remediation activities across security, engineering, privacy, risk, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage cybersecurity and Trust integration activities across multiple initiatives, including project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Coordinate activities across Security, Privacy, Risk, Engineering, Product, and technology teams.
• Support security and Trust assessments by gathering information, documenting findings, identifying gaps, and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Translate security findings and requirements into clear priorities, remediation plans, owners, and timelines.
• Track security risks, vulnerabilities, remediation commitments, and other Trust activities through completion.
• Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and decision-making discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify blockers and risks and work with teams to drive them toward resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide concise status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Help technology teams understand and navigate cybersecurity and Trust requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve cybersecurity integration processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Must-Have Skills
• 4 to 7 years of experience in project management, program management, cybersecurity, technology risk, or a combination of these areas.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical projects involving engineering, security, or technology teams.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and technology risk concepts, including vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, and security risk assessment.
• Ability to understand technical security findings and translate them into actionable project activities, risks, and decisions.
• Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and drive progress across teams without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, technology integrations, or similar cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity assessments, risk assessments, vulnerability management, or security remediation activities.
• Familiarity with application security, cloud or SaaS security, SecOps, or DevSecOps concepts.
