Industrial plant cleaner

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Wet/damp. Work setting: Factory or plant. Rural area. Tasks: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Perform safety and security checks. Work with minimal supervision. Clean and maintain equipment. Food safety/handling skills. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Production. Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
