Hotel Maintenance

The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Regina is currently seeking a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated Full-Time Maintenance Team Member to join our team. This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in general building maintenance and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas Complete a wide range of maintenance tasks, including: Carpentry Basic electrical and plumbing work HVAC system maintenance Painting and drywall repair Flooring repairs, tiling, grouting, and silicone application Conduct interior and exterior upkeep, including landscaping duties Repair and maintain guest room furniture, lighting fixtures, and equipment Required to clean public areas, including mopping and sweeping Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience in general maintenance and building systems Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Professional attitude with strong customer service skills Physically capable of lifting and performing hands-on tasks Willingness to assist guests and team members as required Flexible and dependable with a positive work ethic We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those
