Health care aide

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to provide quality patient care on unit 58 Peter Lougheed Centre. Unit 58 is an in-patient Vascular Special Care Unit. Our patients will have complex, diverse, stable, and unstable care needs. The Health Care Aide assist in the provision of direct patient care-the primary duties include: performing tasks related to activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety rounds of patients, assist with feeding, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high quality patient care to our patient population. The Health Care Aide provides patient care services as an unregulated worker under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
