This position aims to support two of the specialty clinics at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) including the Bariatric Specialty Clinic and Gastrointestinal (GI) Clinic (focus on cirrhosis). These are busy clinics with a dedicated team of health professionals. The dietitian will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, educate, and provide support to clients. This position will report to the Nutrition Services manager and will work collaboratively within the clinic policies and processes. The bariatric clinic provides support to clients undergoing surgical management for obesity. The GI clinic provides support to clients with inflammatory bowel disease and/or liver disease.
