Hyperflo | Rouyn-Noranda | Permanent, Full-Time | On-Site Do you enjoy drafting, understanding how things work, and seeing your designs come to life on the shop floor? At Hyperflo, we design and manufacture ventilation equipment for the mining industry. We are looking for an Industrial Drafter to contribute to our projects while working closely with our engineering and production teams. Your role: Turn technical concepts into accurate, detailed 3D models and manufacturing-ready drawings. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with our workshop teams, understand assembly requirements, and see the tangible results of your work. What You'll Do• Create 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks. • Prepare manufacturing drawings for mechanical parts and welded structures. • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications required for manufacturing. • Create and update bills of materials (BOMs) and material lists. • Revise drawings based on design changes and feedback from production. • Track drawing revisions and maintain accurate, reliable technical documentation. • Collaborate with engineering, production, project managers, and procurement teams to resolve technical issues. • Suggest improvements to simplify the manufacturing and assembly of our equipment. Who We're Looking ForYou are detail-oriented, curious, and hands-on. You enjoy understanding what you design, asking the right questions, and finding solutions alongside the people who manufacture the equipment. You have: • A vocational diploma (DEP) in Industrial Drafting, a college diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a relevant combination of education and experience. • Experience in mechanical or industrial drafting, ideally 2 to 5 years. • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or solid experience with comparable 3D design software. • A good understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes, welding, and assembly. • The ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
