The Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is responsible for preparing and delivering Basic Life Support classes focusing on how to respond in cardiac emergencies. They are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering BLS courses. They manage class logistics, and ensure quality and effectiveness of CPR training. The majority of classes are adult healthcare provider BLS, however select infant, child and Heartsaver CPR AED courses are offered The position reports to the Manager of Education Integration.
