Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Determine the size of food portions and costs. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe Food Handling certificate. Food Safety Certificate. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
