*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with their needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be organized, and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are a plus, helping to enhance the shopping experience for a diverse customer base. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases * Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions * Manage product demos and provide information about merchandise or technology products * Upsell items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction * Maintain merchandising standards and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized * Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy * Process returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently * Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and welcoming * Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed *Skills* * Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable * Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures * Knowledge of retail sales techniques, including upselling and product demos * Organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods * Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail * Familiarity with merchandising standards and product presentation * Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries over the phone * Technical sales experience or knowledge of technology products is a plus * Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities Pay: $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person
