Ovenroom Machine Operator - Food ManufacturingShift : Monday to Friday, 03.00pm to 11.00pmPay rate : $23.40/hr plus $1.00 shift premium, $24.40/hr plus $1.00 shift premium after 1040 hours worked(Temp hours worked will be counted for 1040 hours)Operators measure ingredients following a recipe, maintain records of material used and monitor machines for faults. Assemble, disassemble, and clean tooling as required while keeping the work area clean. Physically capable of heavy lifting (50 lbs.) throughout shift. Required to perform all duties required within the Baking Department. This would include, but may not be limited to Cream Spreader Operator, Batter System Operator, Crme System OperatorLift bagged ingredients with a weight of23kg (50lbs) to an opening of mixing vessels. (example: bagged sugar, bagged flour, and bagged dextrose)Measure ingredients following batter and crme recipesMaintain records of material use and productionAssemble, disassemble, and clean tooling as required by production while keeping the work area cleanRespond to machine faultsThis job posting is for an existing, currently vacant positionPlease note: we have the following allergens in our facility: Peanuts, Wheat, Whey, Dairy and Soy What you Bring to the Table:Leadership - The Machine Operator will set the example for the line, as such they will need to follow all policies/procedures set forth by Shearers Foods LLC. The machine operator must have the ability to work well with others. Must demonstrate Shearer's Core Values of Respect, Teamwork, and Giving Back.Computer Skills - Must have basic computer skills required to run production. Verifications on computer will be done routinely throughout the day.Time Management - Will have to effectively manage his/her own time. Quality verifications will be performed at specific intervals throughout the day. The machine operator is responsible for completing changeovers in allotted time as well as planning his/her breaks around lulls in activity.Physical Demands - The machine operator must be able to move, twist, or lift up to 50lbs.
