Select People Solutions is searching for a Safety Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across workplace safety and employee-related processes, helping maintain accurate records, coordinate onboarding and training, and keep documentation organized and up to date. This is a great opportunity for an organized administrator interested in developing experience in both safety and human resources support within an industrial environment What’s in it for You? • Opportunity to develop experience in workplace safety and HR administration • Variety of administrative and employee-focused responsibilities • Opportunity for professional growth and skill development Compensation & Hours: • $21–$25/hour, depending on experience • Monday through Friday, daytime hours Position Summary: • Maintain employee files, safety records, training documentation, and certification records • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientations, and required employee documentation • Track training requirements, certification expiries, and required follow-up • Prepare and organize incident, inspection, and other safety-related documentation • Coordinate employee training, safety meetings, and related scheduling • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document control, reporting, and maintaining confidential records Required Qualifications: • Previous administrative, office, or related experience • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Comfortable handling confidential employee information and documentation • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Professional communication skills and confidence working with employees across different departments • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on required tasks Bonus Points For: • Education or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field • Previous exposure to HR administration, onboarding, or employee records • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, or trades environment • Familiarity with WCB, COR, incident reporting, or workplace safety programs Right People.
