*Overview* You will play a critical role in driving our business development efforts by managing proposals, bids, and client communications. You will collaborate with architects, technologists and engineers to craft compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and position the firm as the preferred choice for high-value projects. In this role, you will craft compelling, clear, and persuasive proposals that showcase our capabilities and align with client needs. Your expertise in research, proofreading, and effective communication will be essential to produce high-quality documents that win opportunities and foster long-term relationships. *PRIMARY RFP/RFQ RESPONSIBILITIES (80%):* * Manage the RFP/RFQ process from start to finish. * Keep the Director informed of upcoming leads and active pursuits. * Interpret and communicate RFQ, RFP, and interview requirements to the pursuit team. * Implement client strategies and gather insights that strengthen messaging and pre-positioning. * Develop comprehensive proposal content that clearly articulates project scope, methodology, and value propositions. * Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to gather technical details and ensure accuracy. * Proofread and edit proposals meticulously to eliminate errors, enhance clarity, and ensure consistency in style and tone. * Manage multiple proposal deadlines efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Ensure submissions are accurate, on brand, and completed on time. * Collaboration on partner pursuits when outside partners are engaged. *SECONDARY CONTENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (15%):* * Maintain project data, employee resumés, company and contact information, client insights, and proposal content. * Create and maintain the graphics library. * Coordinate project and employee photography with third-party vendors as needed. * Help keep website content current and make required updates. * External and internal marketing initiatives (5% time commitment) * Work with the Directors to develop and implement annual marketing plans for priority clients and projects. * Collaborate with team members to create and publish monthly news, project updates, press releases, and other noteworthy website and social media content. * Help coordinate logistics for internal company events, external industry events, and event participation *MINORBRAND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (5%):* * Manage the purchase of company apparel and promotional items, including shirts, safety vests, hats, hard hats, and backpacks. * Maintain brand consistency and pursue awareness opportunities through submissions, awards, conferences, industry associations, and media placements. * Guide staff in meeting brand standards, using the brand and communications guide as a training resource. * Partner with a third-party digital agency on additional branding needs as required. *Requirements* * Minimum 5+ years in proposal writing or marketing, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. * Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent education or experience will be considered. * Proven experience in proposal writing and presentations and developing, curating, designing, and editing. AEC proposal content preferred. * Passion for fresh, creative ways to communicate information. * Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives. * Excellent proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail. * Ability to tailor engaging content to the project type, key message, and target audience. * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365. * Strong drive to succeed. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, in-person, and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines * Ability to shift smoothly between long-term s
