For more information about Fulger Transport Inc. please visit our website at https://fulgertransport.com/. *Position Description* Fulger Transport Inc. is actively seeking to hire a new Warehouse Worker to manage our cross docking warehouse facility in Leamington ON. This is a unique position perfect for those looking for an alternative work arrangement. This position will be responsible for operating our warehouse facility on a need basis. This is an on-call position with no established work schedule. In order to succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to be able to report to work to provide warehouse services when needed and will be able to stay at home when they are not needed. Full time compensation will be provided regardless of the work required each week. In order to succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need: - A general understanding of the Logistics and Transportation Industry. - Ability to continuously report to work on a On Call Basis. - Work independently and operate a forklift. The main tasks associated with this position include: - Operating a forklift in a safe manger - Receiving and shipping inventory. - Basic documentation processing. - Interacting directly with other internal stakeholders including drivers, dispatchers, the Operation Department, etc. - Maintain work area appearance and safety. - Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner. - Ensure products are stored in the proper manner. - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. - Must possess a full G Driver?s License with access to your own vehicle and have the ability to drive at any time in the day or night. - Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations. *Qualifications* *Experience:* This individual must have at least 1 year in warehouse operations. *Education:* Highschool diploma is required. *Skills:* - Ability to work independently. - Extremely organized and detail oriented. - Must possess a strong work ethic. - Solid interpersonal skills. - Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
