Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor is efficient and safety-conscious to oversee picking, staging, loading, and shipment verification activities while ensuring strict compliance with food safety, GMP, and HACCP standards. The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on leader and adaptable team player, capable of supervising operations in fast-paced environments, including cold storage facilities, with strong attention to detail and working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft/Google Suite tools. *Job Types:* Full-time *Location:* Scarborough *Responsibilities:* · Supervise warehouse operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. · Oversee receiving and shipping activities; maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. · Conduct regular physical inventory counts and ensure alignment between system data, actual stock, and financial records. · Verify shipments against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders; identify, report, and resolve discrepancies or damages. · Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met. · Coordinate with external transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipping and receiving. · Ensure inventory transparency and accuracy by reconciling ERP data, physical stock, and accounting reports; define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, system utilization, and overall warehouse efficiency. · Safely operate warehouse tools and equipment in compliance with company policies and safety procedures. · Coach, lead, and motivate a small warehouse team to develop individual skill levels and performance to achieve high team productivity. · Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by identifying root causes, streamlining workflows, and applying practical solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and waste reduction. · Assist management with coordination of team activities, task assignments, and administrative documentation. · Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to align inventory priorities and fulfillment requirements. · Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and all company policies. · Perform other duties as assigned by management. *Requirements:* · Minimum of 3?5 years of progressive experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role. · Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude. · Demonstrated initiative with the ability to make sound decisions and motivate others. · Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces. · Holds valid certification to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar warehouse equipment. · Proficient computer skills, including Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and inventory management software. · Comfortable working in diverse environments, including dry storage, cold storage (down to -18°C), and wet conditions. · Willingness to work different shifts and overtime as required. · Fluency in English and Chinese (both oral and written).
