Warehouse associate

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. *Responsibilities* * Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. * Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and packaging. * Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock. * Conduct order picking and heavy lifting as needed to prepare products for shipment. * Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment. * Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies as necessary. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols. *Qualifications* * Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. * Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. * Must have driving license. * Proficient in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers. * Experience with shipping & receiving operations and order fulfillment practices. * Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * A commitment to safety standards and practices within the warehouse setting.
