Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Work setting: Correctional facility. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Mental health institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Conduct follow-up assessments. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research.
