The Stollery Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) is a 69-bed unit supporting the high-risk obstetrical unit at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women as well as a very large geographical area serving out born babies and their families. The NICU program embraces a philosophy of family centered care that aims to meet the unique needs of each baby and their family. The program consists of a multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively to provide high-quality care with a commitment to ongoing quality improvement. Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and working as a member of the leadership team, the Unit Manager assists in effective planning and allocation of human and financial resources where they best support service objectives and quality care.
