Truck fleet foreman/woman

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve work methods. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Train or arrange for training. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Co-ordinate repairs and rentals. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 11-15 people. Truck drivers. More than 20 people. Working groups. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Heavy duty equipment mechanics. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. Type of industry experience: Trucking. Public transit transportation.
